The Institute for Piano Teachers and Disabled in Japan organized and held its first-ever International Piano Paralympics, January 9-10, 2005. Pianists from all over the world with all kinds of disabilities performed at the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall in Japan. Among the performers was our very own Tim, who captured a gold medal at the event. It
was a wonderful event and trip to beautiful Japan. For the January 9
performance, Tim wore black
slacks, white Tux jacket, and a sequined USA flag vest,
When introduced as the USA
representative he walked to the center of the stage, bowed and as he came
back up he took both sides of his jacket and pulled them to the left and
right. A full blast sequined
There were interviews after and a reporter asked Tim about playing. “I don’t take my career or talent lightly, God gave me my gift and I give Him all credit.” Related Articles Best Viewed
